West End's first female lead improv comedy group. 

As a performer and co-founder of ‘The Playground’ one

of London’s most popular improv nights.  

From her critically acclaimed solo show, 'The Science of Cringe', played

to sell-out audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

On BBC One or heard her writing on BBC Radio Comedy


Maria's performed improv comedy and theatre professionally for over a decade throughout the UK and internationally at improv festivals from Estonia to the USA, Portugal & Ireland. 


Her improv expertise can be accredited to many world-class instructors and schools of improv including Keith Johnstone, Second City Chicago, iO Chicago

& the Upright Citizens Brigade, New York. Whose alumni include

Steve Carell, Amy Poehler, and Tina Fey
